Room service hot boxes, are mainly used in hotel catering. These are appliances supporting room service, i.e. the service of serving meals to rooms, provided as a standard by 3-, 4- and 5-star hotels. Room service hot boxes are used to maintain the temperature of served dishes. In the room service section, they are usually placed on trolleys/shelves and connected to the power supply. Then, a moment before serving the meal, the hot boxes are placed in special waiter trolleys.
